Whole galaxies are disappearing from the observable universe. Like intoxicated sleepwalkers dancing for the first time on the edge of a cliff, falling into a place where light disappears faster than its own movement, and so mystery and the unknown is now guaranteed for eternity.
The nervous scientist calculates the unfathomable and unthinkable outcome of these newly revealed; (so-called), facts, and after the initial fear, anger explodes -  a shield, a sword, a projectile to ward of this impossible notion that after killing God, science has failed to protect us from not knowing; from not one day, having ultimate control and knowledge. Hope becomes a true mystery again, and the unknowable face of an authentic, enigmatic force is revealed through the paralysing fear of incalculable emotion.

“There’s  starman waiting in the sky, he’d like to come and meet us, but he thinks he’d blow our minds.”

I am a disappearing universe. We are all disappearing universes.

Only mercy can save you now.
