ON THIS PAGE YOU CAN SEE SOME OF MY FINISHED PROJECTS. I HAVE WHAT IS ONLY AN IDEA/DREAM AT THIS STAGE AND IT IS TO MAKE A DOCUMENTARY ABOUT THE COMMUNITY I CURRENTLY LIVE IN. THE HOPE IS TO ALSO PRODUCE A FILM, USING THE LOCALS TO ACT IN IT.
THE PEOPLE OF BUFFELSJAG
THIS FILM PROJECT WILL HAVE TO PARTS:
1: A DOCUMENTARY FILM. The relevance of this documentary is the complex social issues that affect marginalised communities in South Africa and individuals in BUFFELJAGS RIVER as well as the society as a whole.
2: Alongside the documentary film I aim to produce a FICTIONAL FILM, using crew and actors from my previous film project, (and others); but also the local characters and their talents to tell a story.
SEEING THAT I AM A FRINGE ARTIST AND CONTENT CREATOR WITH NO SUPPORT, I NEED HELP TO MAKE THIS HAPEN. IF YOU WAN'T TO HELP ME COMPLETE THIS PROJECT YOU CAN CONTACT ME AND WE CAN DISCUSS HOW IT CAN BE DONE.

CHRIS WAIT WRITER/DIRECTOR/PRODUCER/CREATIVE
CHRIS WAIT is a creative and filmmaker who's varied skills include video production, still photography, graphic design, music production, motion graphics and creative writing. Chris is currently considering producing a second fictional film, but at this stage it's still in the concept phase.
Chris has written other scripts as well as a full proposal for a film with the working title "A Very Long Night", but so far nothing has come from this due to a lack of support. Contact him for more info on this.
