I grew up in the Free State and studied law and political science at the University of Stellenbosch, but the traditional path never felt like the right fit. After exploring a variety of careers — including working as a safari guide and freelance photographer — I decided to take the plunge. I now dedicate myself full-time to traveling, documenting people, places, and events, and creating engaging new media.

IN SEARCH
OF REAL
HUMAN
CONNECTION
I travel slowly and on the ground, connecting with people rather than just places. Through podcasts, interviews, and story-driven media, I capture real conversations as they unfold across cultures. Along the way, I’m creating a living art route—leaving original artwork in the communities I pass through.
In this series, I explore, connect with, and tell the stories of all people — no matter their politics, religion, status, wealth, colour, creed, sexual orientation, or life philosophy. There are no boundaries here. It’s inclusive. I hang out with everybody.
Freedom — what does it mean? For me, it’s a mindset. True mental freedom comes from letting go of unnecessary preconceptions and artificial divisions that separate us. This is the state of mind I strive for, and it’s one I love sharing with my audience.
The goal of this series is to give viewers an unconventional, grassroots perspective. In this first season I travel using minibus taxis, buses, and even hitchhiking — doing whatever it takes to get the story. I live my brand, and my approach is as real and authentic as it gets. Life on the road isn’t just a theme — it’s my reality. This is me fully embracing a wanderlust-filled adventure lifestyle, and sharing that journey with my audience.
